DIY Thieves Stain Remover

While searching for ways to replace the cleaners around my house (with ingredients I wasn’t even sure what they were).. the stain remover was always something I had a hard time not using. We have two young kids, and their clothes can get filthy! Introducing the DIY Thieves Stain Remover (or stain stick if you live in the Usborne house ha).

If you’re new to Young Living, Thieves is their household cleaner line.. and let me tell you.. this stuff is amazing! I made the switch to their hand soaps and household cleaner back in 2016 and more recently the dish soap, fruit & veggie soak, and laundry soap. This recipe calls for their laundry soap, household cleaner & veggie soak.. Don’t have the veggie soak on hand? No worries I’ll give you an alternative at the bottom of this post!

The recipe:

  • Grab a large roller ball.. I like a 30ml roller bottle (or a 10ml if that’s what you have on hand) & a funnel!
  • Fill 1/3 of the way with Thieves Laundry Soap
  • Fill 1/3 of the way with Thieves Household Cleaner
  • Fill the last 1/3 with Thieves Veggie & Fruit Soak.
  • I usually like to top this with a few (5 ish) drops of Lemon essential oil.

If you don’t have the veggie and fruit soak on hand, no worries! You can do 1/2 Thieves Laundry Soap and 1/2 Thieves Household Cleaner with a few drops of lemon essential oil.

Roll on the stain remover to the affected area, let it sit, and give it a quick rinse before throwing it into the washing machine.
